Diamond Collision Services, Inc (DCS) was established in September of 1998. Owner, Allen Moore, owner has been in the auto body repair industry all his life. After graduation, he was hired to be a painter apprentice and eventually up to doing custom paint work. He worked as a painter for 9 years before moving over to the body and frame side of the business. He apprenticed under a frame specialist in Las Vegas and worked for a frame & unibody specialty facility in Lexington, KY. He has worked at various dealerships, including the largest Ford/Lincoln dealership at the time and for a European specialty shop in Lexington. After moving to Avon to be closer to Debbie’s family, Allen & Debbie had the opportunity to purchase their own frame equipment and start Diamond Unibody & Frame Repair (DU&FR). In 1998, the local shop sold and Allen & Debbie started renting their current location and opened the doors in Sept of 1998 under the new business; Diamond Collision Services, Inc. DCS bought the property where we converted the 2nd building into an office and the 3rd smallest building into our detail bay. In 2003, we added on to the shop – doubling our repair space. Allen oversees and works in the shop each day. He works on vehicles as he trains apprentices, writes estimates, and oversees the work flow. Debbie oversees the office, marketing, community outreach, training, and compliance. Our employees take pride in their work and we take pride in our community. We support our local Rotary and Kiwanis clubs, Hoosier Burn Camp, local sports teams and the American Cancer Society.
